Dr. Annette Tardif

Dr. Annette Tardif earned a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from New Mexico State University (APA-accredited) after receiving her Master’s degree in Existential Phenomenological Psychology from Seattle University. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at Portland VA Health Care System where she also completed her postdoctoral residency in Palliative Care, both APA-accredited. Dr. Tardif's research focuses on disability, integrated care, and access to mental health services and she has presented this work at national psychology conferences.

Her clinical specialties include adjustment to new, chronic, as well as serious or life-threatening health conditions; chronic pain; disability; caregiver support/burden; grief and loss; and reproductive health/infertility. Additionally, Dr. Tardif enjoys working with patients of all ages and clinical goals. It is an honor for her to get to understand a patient's experience and work as a collaborative team to optimize health and functioning via a bio-psycho-social-spiritual and strengths-based assessment, mind-body health conceptualization, and evidence-based interventions.

Dr. Tardif lives in Tacoma with her husband and enjoys trail running, cheering on the Seattle Sounders and Reign FC, and spending time with their dog and cat.
